Low-MOQ watch manufacturing — start from 25 pieces per model.
Watch MOQ can start from 25 pieces per model for qualifying private-label designs. Validate a collection, run a limited edition or launch a new brand without over-committing to inventory.
Not every customization fits a 25-piece run.
| Programme type | Typical MOQ | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ready design + custom logo (private label) | 25 pcs / model | No tooling, standard components. |
| Modified existing design (dial colour, strap) | 50–100 pcs / model | Small run of a customized variant. |
| Fully custom dial artwork | 100–300 pcs / model | Artwork setup and colour standards. |
| Custom case (new tooling) | 500+ pcs / model | Tooling amortization. |
| Custom movement | 1,000+ pcs / model | Movement supplier MOQ. |
| Custom rigid packaging | 300–500 sets | Box supplier MOQ. |
Full custom watches at 25 pieces are generally not commercially viable — tooling and component MOQs cannot be recovered on that quantity. Start with private label, then tool up when demand is proven.
Programmes that fit the low-MOQ model.
Ship a real product and gather real customer data before ordering thousands of units.
Small numbered runs for anniversaries, launches or collector drops.

Small internal awards, board gifts, key-partner presentation sets.
Test a store or category before rolling out nationally.
Extend a fashion brand into watches with a low-risk capsule.
Low MOQ means higher per-unit cost — planned around margin.
At low quantities, per-unit cost is higher because tooling, artwork setup, packaging plates and inspection overheads are spread across fewer pieces. We plan low-MOQ programmes around your target retail price and margin so the launch remains commercially healthy — not just cheap.
Low-MOQ watch manufacturing questions.
Can I really order just 25 watches?+
For qualifying private-label designs — where you use an existing model and customize dial print, strap and packaging — yes. Fully custom cases are not viable at that quantity.
How long does a 25-piece run take?+
Typically 6–10 weeks, subject to packaging and component availability. Faster than a scaled OEM run, but slower per-piece than volume production.
Can I mix 25 pieces across several models?+
MOQ applies per model. We can advise on a starter assortment that keeps each model at MOQ while still giving your customer choice.
Will the product feel cheap because it's a small run?+
No. Same components, same movements, same inspection. Cost per piece is higher, but the product spec is the same as a larger run of the same model.
